As we prepare for Caret v2, we’ve revisited your feedback to make sure all those “I wish it could…” requests are finally addressed.

Team features

You can now manage permissions more precisely and intuitively. Instead of relying on groups or tags, simply create teams and decide exactly who can access each note. Share notes with your entire team, or keep them private if needed. This makes it much easier to coach junior sales reps, hiring or share sensitive information securely within your company.

Note: The new team features are available for Enterprise plans and for team-plan workspaces created before May 12, 2025.

Connect company calendar to Caret

Connect company calendar

One of our most-requested features is now available: connect your company calendar directly to Caret. Link multiple Google or Outlook accounts and get reminders for your meetings right inside Caret.

Thank you to everyone who patiently waited, especially Junhyung, Sungho, Bumsu, Kyuhan, Yujin, and Steve.
And coming soon: you’ll be able to sign in with your email, making Caret accessible even if you don’t use Google.

Workflow Automation with Zapier (Beta)

Caret now integrates with Zapier to help you automate your workflow. When a meeting ends, you can trigger automated tasks in Zapier. While this feature is still in beta and requires an API key, we’re working to make the full release as seamless as possible.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Fixed translation feature issues while network requests were redirected to regions where AI models were blocked by national policy (e.g. Hong Kong).
Added alerts for AirPods microphone problems caused by recent Airpods/macOS firmware bugs.
Fixed an issue where recordings wouldn’t upload if the app was closed before finishing, when using audio file upload feature. Thank you, Dokyung!
Fixed a bug where plan changes didn’t show up right away, and where canceled subscriptions showed 0 minutes for some users.
